2008年6月20日，唐山人民广播电台“曹妃甸之声”（AM900）隆重开播。全天播音18小时，节目覆盖唐山市区、曹妃甸新区、唐山 “四点一带”以及环渤海区域，内容以丰富群众文化生活、建设和谐社会为宗旨，以故事、曲艺等语言类节目的简单性区块分割与资讯、气象等服务型节目的点状分 布相结合，设有《曹妃甸进行时》、《曹妃甸快递》、《临海听潮》、《声音传记》、《热播书场》等栏目。
