2005年9月1日，全新的大愛網路電台開播。以優美柔和的聲音，講述真實良善故事,慈濟世界的美好，假如世人看不到、聽不到，則無由得知。慈善、醫療、教育、人文四大志業，皆有豐富而珍貴的內涵，人文志業則隨著四大志業的開展，記錄、傳遞慈濟世界之美。慈濟草創時期，僅有《慈濟》月刊以文字簡述慈善事蹟，而今不僅有平面文刊，還有廣播的聲音傳遞，與立即傳輸立體影像的大愛臺。
