中廣寶島網成立之初名為「中廣農業調頻台」，後來隨著台灣社會、經濟結構的演變與發展，改為「中廣調頻閩南語網」，擴大服務層面，包含勞工與基層服務業等民眾。以誠懇的服務、快捷的新聞資訊、生動活潑的多元節目，結合傳統與現代、精緻與通俗的訴求，廣受大眾喜愛。 自民國八十八年起，閩南語網改名為「中廣寶島廣播網」，以閩南語為主，國語為輔，針對三十歲以上的聽眾，提供最貼心的服務，舉凡生活、健康、就業、休閒旅遊、投資理財、科技新知、戲劇等，無所不包。
