吉林人民广播电台新闻综合广播成立于1945年11月21日,是吉林人民广播电台下属的8个系列台中历史最长、覆盖范围最广的主干台之一，使用中播738千赫、调频91.6兆赫（长春市）双频同步播出。全天节目总播出时间为24小时。 近几年，按照专业化经营、新闻立台的指导思想进行了全新构造，实现了由综合广播向新闻综合广播的转型，全频率节目既有整点滚动播出的强档新闻，又有深度报道，新闻性节目占据近80%以上时段。
