Тематика текстов — религиозная, растафарианская. Время возникновения: конец 1960-х. Исполнители: Альфа Блонди, The Abyssinians, Burning Spear, Culture, Ли «Скрэтч» Перри, Боб Марли, Steel Pulse и другие.
