Инди-фолк (англ. Indie folk, независимая народная музыка) — музыкальный жанр, созданный в 1990-х годах авторами-исполнителями песен из инди-рок-сообщества под влиянием эстрадной фолк-музыки 50-х, 60-х и начала 70-х годов, кантри-музыки и инди-рока. Первыми исполнителями инди-фолка обычно считают Лу Барлоу, Бека Хэнсена, Джеффа Бакли и Эллиота Смита. Жанр обычно связывают с фолк-музыкой, псих-фолком, барокко-поп и стилем «Новая Странная Америка». Значительный рост поппулярности инди-фолка начался с начала 2000-х годов с таких групп, как Bright Eyes, Iron & Wine, Beirut, The Avett Brothers, Arthur & Yu, The Decemberists, Okkervil River, Manel, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Mumford & Sons и других.
