A Rádio Contemporânea Rio tem sede no Rio de Janeiro-RJ, faz parte da Central Record de Comunicação desde 1989, e opera na frequência AM 990 kHz. Tem uma programação pautada no jornalismo, esporte, entretenimento e música. A rádio foi fundada com o nome de Ipanema, e tinha sua sede no prédio 7 da Praça Mauá, o mesmo que abrigava a Rádio Nacional.
